3 on 3 Winter Basketball League

Join us for exciting games in an electric atmosphere! We are the first and original 3-on-3 basketball league on the North Shore and in Chicagoland. Launched in 2015, our league was created to help young players develop their skills in a fun, competitive environment.

Our 3-on-3 league features divisions for boys and girls at all grade levels. Teams compete for a championship run, with big awards on the line. Games are played in a high-energy setting where basketball fundamentals are emphasized, helping each player grow throughout the season.

Now an Olympic sport, 3-on-3 basketball accelerates player development by maximizing touches, spacing, and ball movement. Our goal is for every player to build leadership and teamwork skills while developing a lifelong love for the game.

For Boys and Girls Grades K-8
Divisions divided into individual grades.
*Divisions subject to change. Depending on the number of teams for an individual grade there are times when divisions will be combined between two different grades. For example, Grade 2 combined with Grade 3.

*Max - 80 Total Teams (40 Boys Teams; 40 Girls Teams)

Dates/Times
League runs for 6 weeks. 10/25-12/14 (No Games 11/1-11/2 and 11/29-11/30)

Regular Season is 4 weeks and 8 Games. Playoffs are week 5 and 6.
On average teams play 2 games in a 1-2hr timeframe.

*Depending on the number of teams per division the estimated time block within the division could change. League game schedule will be released on 10/22.

Saturdays: 9am-5pm: Boys Grades K-1
Saturdays: 10am-6pm: Boys Grades 2-3
Saturdays: 1pm-7pm: Boys Grades 4-5
Sundays: 9am-3pm: Girls Grades K-2
Sundays: 11am-5pm: Girls Grades 3-4
Sundays: 2pm-7pm: Girls Grades 5-8 and Boys Grades 6-12

Details

Hoops4Health Coaches will provide instruction to each team. Games are played in a 30 minute time block.
There are no practices in the league. Strictly games only. For extra practice we recommend the Basketball Academy and/or 3 on 3 Pick Up.
Hoops4Health Coaches handle substitutions.
All teams make the playoffs. Playoffs are bracket play and teams will be seeded out by their regular season record. Depending on the regular season record teams will be placed in either the Gold or Silver bracket. *Multiple brackets depends on the total number of teams per division.
There are player write-ups updated every week.
Team and individual awards will be given out at the conclusion of the season.

Ways to Sign Up

Team & Individual Sign-ups - Make your own team or sign up as an individual (Free Agent). Minimum 4 and maximum 6 players per team.

Team Signup
If registering as a team each team player must sign up individually. At sign up the names of the players on the team must be put in. Minimum of 4 and Max 6 players per team.

Individual (Free Agent) Signup
Individual signups will be place together to forms teams or added to a team that needs players.

Basketball Academy and 3 on 3 Pick Up

In addition to our 3 on 3 League we have our Basketball Academy and 3 on 3 Pick Up which is a great way for players to enhance their skills in a more focused environment. Classes are offered weekly. The Academy focuses on developing the areas of shooting, dribbling, defense, spacing and teamwork in a smaller setting and also includes gameplay. The Pick Up program is great way to get game reps in and get more game experience which is very important for development.
