3 on 3 Summer Basketball League

Join us for exciting games in an electric atmosphere! We are the first and original 3-on-3 basketball league on the North Shore and in Chicagoland. Launched in 2015, our league was created to help young players develop their skills in a fun, competitive environment.

Our 3-on-3 league features divisions for boys and girls at all grade levels. Teams compete for a championship run, with big awards on the line. Games are played in a high-energy setting where basketball fundamentals are emphasized, helping each player grow throughout the season.

Now an Olympic sport, 3-on-3 basketball accelerates player development by maximizing touches, spacing, and ball movement. Our goal is for every player to build leadership and teamwork skills while developing a lifelong love for the game.

*NEW FORMAT

We are committed to creating a fair and competitive league by forming balanced teams. Starting this summer, players will be grouped based on skill level at registration, and adjustments may be made after Week 1 if necessary to maintain balance. Each player may submit one friend request, and while we will do our best to accommodate these requests, they are not guaranteed.

We look forward to an action packed 3on3 league that provides development, learning, and parity!

Ages

For Boys and Girls Grades K-8
Divisions divided into individual grades.
*Divisions subject to change. Depending on the number of teams for an individual grade there are times when divisions will be combined between two different grades. For example, Grade 2 combined with Grade 3.

Dates/Times

League runs for 6 weeks. 6/13-8/1.
No Games 6/20 and 7/4
Regular Season is 4 weeks and 8 Games. Playoffs are week 5 and 6.
On average teams play 2 games in a 1-2hr timeframe.

Game days/times

League game schedule will be released on 6/10 (Your child's schedule may change after week 1 as we adjust teams to create balance throughout the league.

All games are on Saturdays 9am-1pm

Details

Hoops4Health Coaches will provide instruction to each team. Games are played in a 30 minute time block.
There are no practices in the league. Strictly games only. For extra practice we recommend the Basketball Academy.
Hoops4Health Coaches handle substitutions.
All teams make the playoffs. Playoffs are bracket play and teams will be seeded out by their regular season record.
There are player write-ups updated every week.
Team and individual awards will be given out at the conclusion of the season.

Basketball Academy

In addition to our 3 on 3 League we have our Basketball Academy which is a great way for players to enhance their skills in a more focused environment. Classes are offered weekly. The Academy focuses on developing the areas of shooting, dribbling, defense, spacing and teamwork in a smaller setting and also includes gameplay.

Sign Up

At signup you will be asked for your child's skill level and also 1 friend request. For us to try to honor friend requests both participants must listed as requested teammates. (Friend requests are not guaranteed). Teams will be made up of a minimum of 4 and no more than 6 players per team.
