At Hoops4Health we are there to help each player complete their dream of playing college basketball. Over the years a number of players have gone on to play college ball at all different levels including D1, D2, D3, NAIA, and JUCO. We help guide each player through the whole recruiting process.
Included with playing on a 15-17U Spring/Summer High School Regional and National Team is Recruiting Assistance.
"When I first started playing Hoops4Health in fourth grade I did not know what the newly founded program would give to me. Through a couple of practices, I learned how much the coaches at Hoops4Health actually cared about developing their players to reach their potential. As I got older, I continued to be instilled with knowledge from some great coaches throughout middle school. This is where I learned the dedication and hard work that I would need to become the player that I wanted to be. In high school my love for the program grew as I saw how hard our coaches worked to put our teams in a national schedule to get the most exposure possible. Brendan reached out to so many college coaches for all his players to try and get them all to play at the next level. I would not be the player or person I an today without Hoops4Health and am forever grateful for all the lessons that I have learned. Go Bulldogs!"

"Coach Brendan Kolton worked relentlessly with us to find the right place academically, socially and athletically for my son. As an unsigned senior, Brendan matched my son with 20+ college coaches and colleges who were looking for players that worked hard in the classroom, possessed great character and were fundamentally skilled. His work and outreach to all levels -NCAA D1, D2, D3, NAIA and JUCOS - made it possible for us to find the right fit to meet our needs. As the parent of an under recruited student-athlete, Brendan's knowledge of the recruiting process and direct access to college coaches proved to be invaluable. Daily contacts from Brendan and multiple colleges demonstrated his level of commitment and due diligence exercised during the recruitment period. As a result TJ received offers and high interest from over 15 colleges. He ultimately signed a student-athlete contract worth over $56,000 per year with an opportunity to dominate both academically and athletically. " Parent of Terry Smith Jr . - Curie - Loyola New Orleans (NAIA)
"Hoops4Health has taught me so much about nutrition and basketball throughout the years! It’s an amazing program with great people that really care about your health and your performance. Personally, I played for them for 3 years, and now I’m playing college basketball. The recruiting assistance was amazing as my Coach Brendan did everything in his power to help me get to the place I am today. Whatever is asked from them, they provide! I would strongly recommend Hoops4Health if you want your kid to be looked after at all times." - Karlo Colak - New Trier - Illinois-Wesleyan (D3)
"Brendan Kolton is the best Coach that has coached my son DeAndre Heckard. Being a part of Hoops4health family for many years put my son on the map of basketball. Brendan doesn't just teach you the game of basketball but all the fundamentals and skills that is needed to succeed to that next level playing field. He has a big heart and loves each and every player under him. Without Brendan I don't believe DeAndre's name would've been known across the basketball world. He took personal time out to email college coaches, call college coaches, send videos of his games and did highlight videos on his behalf. What I love about Brendan Kolton and the Hoops4health family, he stayed in contact with DeAndre well after his AAU career and high school. He still cares about his well being as well as his education. The Heckard Family will always support and be apart of the Hoops4health Family." Angie Heckard - Mother of DeAndre Heckard who has committed to play Division 1 basketball at Stephen F. Austin University – DeAndre Heckard - Romeoville - Stephen F Austin (D1)
"Brendan and the rest of the coaches at Hoops 4 Health helped me develop into the player I am today. I started working with Brendan in one-on-one sessions during Covid where he helped enhance my skills and understanding of the game. The next two years, I played on the Hoops 4 Health AAU team where I was allowed to play through my mistakes and become more comfortable as a player. Brendan always made the utmost effort to insure that I had exposure and opportunities to play in college." (Tyler Van Gorp - New Trier - Williams (D3)
"This Program is beyond amazing! I played here for most of my AAU days and enjoyed every moment. If your looking for great coaching, a brotherhood, and dedication, this is the program for you. Brendan runs an excellent program for both boys and girls from young ages to high school, teaching mind and body health and advocating diversity and teamwork. You won’t regret playing here for sure." - Adam Bula - New Trier - North Park (D3)
Hoops4Health gave our athlete a place to both "show and grow." There are a lot of teams that give kids a way to be seen, but few that work on getting better as a player, a teammate, and competitor." Parents of Griffin Ryan. - New Trier - University of Pennsylvania - (D1)
"Thanks for all you do Brendan and staff. Playing for Hoops4Health was a fantastic experience for my son. You guys run a 1st class organization."
