Winter New Trier Travel Basketball

This program helps connect players through competition, bonding, and team basketball. Players learn the fundamentals and skills needed to excel and elevate their game.  This program is for all players looking to develop their skills on a more competitive level.  Each player will learn team basketball, work ethic, leadership skills, and the fundamentals. Most of all, we want each player to have fun and build a love for the game. Basketball has had a positive impact in the lives of each Hoops4Health coach and we strive for that in every player.

PROFESSIONAL COACHING

LEAGUE AND TOURNAMENTS

PROFESSIONAL COACHING

All our coaches have an incredible amount of expertise and experience in coaching basketball. Each one has a passion for teaching the art of the game, offensive and defensive schemes, and the fundamentals and qualities necessary to be a great teammate and player. Their aim is for every player to bond and sync to become a strong unit who succeeds on the court as well as be great people and student athletes off the court. Sportsmanship and teamwork are a core philosophy of each of the Hoops4Health coaches. We also always stress the importance of nutrition, taking care of your mind and body, and excelling in school. All coaches are background checked and Hoops4Health trained.

NUTRITION EMPHASIS

LEAGUE AND TOURNAMENTS

PROFESSIONAL COACHING

At Hoops4Health teaching a healthy lifestyle is as important to us as teaching basketball fundamentals. Throughout the season players will be reminded about making healthy choices. At the beginning of the season parents will be sent a healthy food option list to discuss with their kids. Each season Hoops4Health dedicates a week to discussing and promoting a healthy lifestyle called "Nutrition Week." The benefits of healthy eating and living habits are discussed with each team.  We teach the importance of overall healthy lifestyle which includes proper rest, nutritious meals, and exercise. These elements can help lead to being a better athlete, student, and healthier person.
