3 STRIPES GOLD BASKETBALL (3SGB) is a premier, multi-session circuit featuring elite travel basketball programs from across the United States. Designed for serious athletes with aspirations of playing at the collegiate level, 3SGB provides players with the opportunity to showcase their talents in front of college coaches, scouts, and recruiters. As a division of the Adidas 3SSB (Three Stripes Select Basketball) - the top tier of the Adidas Basketball Circuit - 3SGB offers a high-level competitive platform.  

 The elite level of Bulldogs High School Travel has a proven history of success in player development, competing against the top teams in the country, and guiding athletes through the college recruiting process. Through high-level competition, increased exposure, and dedicated recruiting assistance, numerous players have gone on to compete at the collegiate and professional levels. Each athlete learns the value of team basketball while developing a strong work ethic, leadership skills, and a solid foundation in fundamentals.

• For Boys Grades 9-11 (15u-17u)
• Season runs 3/9-7/19  ​(off in June and continue in July.)
• There is one Adidas 3SGB team offered on the High School level (15u-17u). These teams are for high level high school players looking to play at the college level. 

• Teams practice 2 times a week. 
• Practices take place in Wilmette/Des Plaines area and other surrounding locations. 
• Practices are 1.5-2.5hrs long
• Practices consist of skill development as well as building offensive and defensive schemes. Teamwork and defense are the backbone of our philosophy and is emphasized by each coach. Our goal is to build high IQ basketball players.

• Travel players are provided a PDF playbook, online drills, plus an at home program that players can do on their own. We feel this will really enhances the experience for the players. Coaches will refer to these throughout the season. This allows players to study our playbook as well as having many drills to help help develop outside of practice. 

• All our coaches have an incredible amount of expertise and experience in coaching basketball. Each one has a passion for teaching the art of the game, offensive and defensive schemes, and the fundamentals and qualities necessary to be a great teammate and player. Their aim is for every player to bond and sync to become a strong unit who succeeds on the court as well as be great people and student athletes off the court. Sportsmanship and teamwork are a core philosophy of each of the Hoops4Health coaches. We also always stress the importance of nutrition, taking care of your mind and body, and excelling in school. ​All coaches are background checked and Hoops4Health trained. 

• Each season players can earn Hoops4Health All-Academic Team. These players not only exemplify excellence on the court but most importantly off the court in the classroom where it most counts. Our emphasis on academics is extremely important. Basketball is a privilege. School always comes first. Members of the Hoops4Health All-Academic Honors will receive special medals. To be eligible to earn the Hoops4Health All-Academic Honors the player must have a minimum 3.5 GPA (A-). The most recent report card must be handed in to a Hoops4Health coach. If a letter grade is not given players can get a teacher recommendation. 

• This program promotes sportsmanship, teamwork, friendship, hard work, discipline, sportsmanship, communication, leadership, and a healthy lifestyle. We always provide professional coaching and challenge our players to become not only better players but better people. Our core teaching methods build offensive and defensive team principles, skill development, fundamentals, and basketball IQ. Our number one priority is to improve the game of each player and teach how to play structured team basketball. We believe that it's not only about proper practice but making sure players have drills to do on their own to continue their development.

• Adidas 3SGB High School Grades 9-12 (15u-17u): $2375 - includes multiple of state exposure/ NCAA Live Recruiting tournaments. Also, includes the Adidas Gear Package (Reversible Basketball Uniform, Socks, Tee, Practice Jersey, Backpack, Anthony Edwards AE1 Shoes. 
• Team fee does not include travel expenses such as hotel/airfare.

• Tryouts will evaluate the players skills through a number of drills and games.
• Players are expected to attend both tryouts. 
• If you cannot attend one of the scheduled tryouts or makeup tryout, please contact us at support@hoops4health.com
• Players should bring their own basketball to tryouts
• Tryout Fee: $25​ (Pre-Registration Required - Tryout fee covers both tryouts. 
• Teams and schedule will be posted 3-4 days after tryouts. At that time parents will have the option to register for the season and accept your child's roster spot or not accept their spot.
